Cleaner (Part Time)

Job overview

We are looking to recruit a dedicated and proactive part time Cleaner to join our services in Luton, Bedfordshire. The Cleaner will carry out a range of cleaning activities in order to provide a clean, hygienic and welcoming environment in line with specified cleaning standards. As part of the role, duties will include dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins and other general cleaning duties including replenishing consumables.

This role is flexible in terms of shift pattern with hours between 10am – 6pm across Monday to Friday to be negotiated.

Key Responsibilities:

• To maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness throughout areas of responsibility
• Understanding and adhere to Health and Safety requirements
• Taking stock of cleaning products and storing in a safe way
• Report any maintenance issues within a timely manner
• Attending relevant training where required

Experience Required:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and use initiative, while being part of a team
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards and the ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
• Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
• Ability to multitask and maintain schedule
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
